Philadelphia, PA (January 14, 2015) – GOLDENBERG’S® PEANUT CHEWS® (GPC) is celebrating Valentine’s Day for an entire month with the I “HEART” PEANUT CHEWS® campaign beginning on Thursday, January 15, 2015 and ending on Saturday, February 14, 2015. They are searching for the greatest PEANUT CHEWS® love stories, both in person, and online.
“Goldie”, the 1967 VW Microbus with an old school PEANUT CHEWS® design, will be driven around town seeking passionate GPC fans to share their fondest, funniest or most sentimental PEANUT CHEWS® memory. They will have a chance to tell their story from inside Goldie (to keep warm) or outside. Fans can also tag PEANUT CHEWS® to videos, photos and comments posted to their own social media pages, or go to facebook.com/PeanutChewsCandy to print product coupons while supplies last! Additionally, new GPC Bites will be sold directly from Goldie with all proceeds donated to Liberty USO to support our troops.
Kicking off the campaign are video memories and stories by Philadelphia notables like long-time PEANUT CHEWS® fan Ron Jaworski, and Liberty USOPresident, Joe Brooks. Philadelphia area fans can find Goldie to record their own memories at locations and dates to be posted on the brand’s social media pages. Locations will include retailers and other popular locations around the city, such as the Betsy Ross House, Independence Mall, Rittenhouse Square and more. Fans are encouraged to post their local sightings of Goldie on social media at #CHEWSspotting.
